Blatobran creative center was founded in 2007 as an open platform for artists and designers to network in their use of predominantly ceramics, but also of other media of artistic expression.
The artists grouped under the Blatobran banner share the common mission of educating the public and building awareness of the importance of art and of design in contemporary society. They share the conviction that this can be done through exhibitions, presentations, lectures and other forms of artistic expression.
Blatobran supports creativity and advancement of aesthetic criteria in society by making the creative processes, materials and techniques.
Accessible to the widest public and by doing so in a way which engages the observer as an active participant in artistic expression.
Blatobran recently opened its own gallery in Belgrade, located at 38 Gospodar Jevremova St. with the objective of forming a center for continuous exchange of new ideas and promotion of art and creative design.
From artistic installations to socially engaging design, Blatobran strives towards further expansion of creative influence into all pores of social life, providing for its members and for its audiences a supportive space for experimentation and innovation through the use of new techniques, materials and forms of expression.
O nama
Kreativni centar Blatobran je formiran 2007. godine kao otvorena platforma za povezivanje umetnika i dizajnera koji koriste prevashodno keramiku ali i druge medije umetničkog izražavanja.
Umetnici okupljeni oko Blatobrana imaju zajednički cilj da kroz izlagačku delatnost, prezentacije, predavanja i druge forme umetničkog izražavanja edukuju širu publiku i unaprede svest o značaju umetnosti i dizajna u savremenom društvu.
Blatobran podstiče kreativnost i estetske kriterijume društva približavanjem stvaralačkog procesa, materijala i tehnika najširoj publici na način koji angažuje posmatrača kao aktivnog učesnika umetničkog izražavanja.
Sa ciljem da oformi centar stalne razmene novih ideja i promocije savremene umetnosti i dizajna, Blatobran je otvorio i sopstvenu galeriju u Beogradu, u Ul. Gospodar Jevremovoj br. 38.
Od umetničkih instalacija do društveno angažovanog dizajna, Blatobran teži daljem širenju kreativnog delovanja u sve pore društvenog života, dajući svojim članovima kao i najširoj publici podsticajan prostor za experimentisanje i inovacije kroz upotrebu novih tehnika, materijala i formi izražavanja.
